The Artistry of House of SAJ
Rooted in traditional atelier values, shaped by a lineage of design, and dedicated to creating timeless objects for those who appreciate rarity.
The House
Founded in 2000 by Sonal Jain, the house is rooted in heritage, rarity, and the art of true craftsmanship. Raised in a family synonymous with fine jewellery, she grew up surrounded by precious stones, antique heirlooms, and royal commissions. Her father, one of India’s most distinguished jewellers, created masterpieces for Indian royalty, shaping an instinctive understanding of proportion, refinement, and timeless design.
The Craft
More than two decades later, Sonal continues to work from the same old world atelier where the brand first began, preserving the discipline of handcraft, the intimacy of bespoke creation, and the integrity of artisanal processes. The house specialises in one‑of‑a‑kind accessories and garments that merge heritage materials with a contemporary sensibility.
Materials & Editions
Each creation is composed using semi‑precious and precious stones, rare antique beads, vintage and heritage textiles, cashmere, pashmina, silk and fine leather, finished with intricate hand‑embroidered motifs. Every stone is individually selected and every motif is embroidered by hand, ensuring that no two pieces are ever replicated. Nothing is mass produced. Nothing is hurried. Every piece is touched by hand.
A Global Presence & Philosophy
The house’s commitment to excellence has led to private commissions and collaborations with members of the Saudi Royal Family, alongside curated exhibitions in Saudi Arabia and New York. While the audience has grown international, the ethos remains unchanged: authenticity over automation, artistry over excess, heritage over haste. We create modern heirlooms—pieces that carry stories, honour craftsmanship, and transcend seasons.
